Jeya Bharath Benefit Fund Limited was started 24 years ago on 6th day of June 1996 in the premises bearing door No.15/8, CNK Road, Chepauk, Chennai- 5.

Objects

The institution was designed from its very inception with the most laudable object of instilling the spirit of thrift and self help in the minds of its constituents, majority of whom belong to the middle income group. The institution therefore can be said to be one of the few companies that promoted safe and thrifty accumulations of small savings of the people. The prime object of this Company has been to provide cheap credit to all and to wean the people from the clutches of the money lenders and pawn brokers

The company was registered under Companies Act 1956 on 06.06.996 pursuant of Section 149(3) of the Companies Act 1956 and was awarded NIDHI status on 11.01.2005, under Section 620A of the Companies Act 1956. And as a public limited company in which public have shown much interest to develop the Fund, in an exemplary manner. The Government of India has changed the Company’s name by its order from JEYA BHARATH BENEIFT FUND LIMTED to JEYA BHARATH BENEIFT NIDHI LIMTED with effect from 11.12.2019.
Now, the Nidhi Company has been faithfully developing its financial status in the shape of secured credit to its members either on the security of gold ornaments or residential house properties or deposits of the members with the Nidhi Company. In respect of property loans, the company confines to the properties situated within the jurisdiction of City Civil Court of Chennai viz within the city limits of Chennai.
